Beaches
The 38 Beaches of St. Martin/St. Maarten are world famous for their beautiful white sand and turquoise water. Each beach is unique, and all beaches are open to the public. Several tiny islets with lovely beaches are just a short distance away. -
Shopping
The best places to find St. Martin shopping outlets are in Marigot on the French side and Philipsburg on the Dutch side. Front Street is Philipsburg's main duty-free drag, with dozens of quaint shops and elegant boutiques to choose from. -
Nightlife
St. Martin nightlife is considered the best part of the Island by many of its guests. Some would say that you don't truly know St. Martin until the sun goes down. Lots of bars, nightclubs, casinos and restaurants all over the island are fun spots at night. -
Marigot
Marigot Saint Martin has a southern European flavor, especially its beautiful harbor front, with shopping stalls, open-air cafés, and fresh-food vendors. It's well worth a few hours to explore if you're a shopper, a gourmand, or just a Francophile. -
Philipsburg
Philipsburg, the capital of the Dutch side is located on the south side of the island and is the port of call of all the major cruise lines. A dynamic little town with all kind of Duty Free shops, with international names to more local brands. -
Carnival
Join the islands traditional carnival - revellers' dancing in the streets in fantastic creative carnival costumes, while local musical artistes perform soca and calypso music for the entertainment of the colourful troupes as well as the onlookers.
